our relaxing spa holidays at corsendonk in oud-turnhout exceeded our expectations. the mature grounds and medieval dining hall added to the charm, while the genuinely helpful and friendly staff made us feel welcomed. the evening meal was one of the best we've tasted, and the spacious guestroom had a mini bar, making our stay comfortable and enjoyable.

The hotel is in stunning grounds, very peaceful and relaxing, room spotlessly clean, lots of light, staff very helpful and friendly both in person and by email beforehand, all in all we were very pleasantly surprised by this hotel and would have been happier staying much longer than we did. Would be a nice place to take the kids, lots of space, large enough room. The furnishings are quite basic, its not castle opulence, but the surroundings totally make up for any lack of character in the rooms.
Nothing at all, but make sure you have a car (or some form of transport) as I'm not sure how easy it'd be to get there without one. There was a lovely restaurant locally but not much in the way of shops within walking distance.

We liked the location and the fact that it had once been a monastery. The grounds were very peaceful and contained some beautiful trees.
there did not appear to be a way to lock the outer door of the building we were in.

A posh lady like me loved the personal atmosphere and the wide choice of entertainment at Corsendonk Duinse Polders. Perfect for a holiday on the Belgian coast.
Just a small little detail, the curtains and wall coverings were probably not made of fireproof material, but who cares about safety, right?

Big, very clean room, spacious bathroom, friendly staff at reception desk.
Restaurant offers low value for money and unexperienced staff.

Beautiful surroundings. Very pittoresque building and wonderful treelines full of singing birds. Lovely and romantic! Rooms are spacious and well furnished with bath and lots of big mirrors.
Breakfast is charged extra at €15 per person, came as a surprise and pumps up the rate from medium to luxury. Our bathtub was not properly cleaned, pity...

I chose this hotel for attending a synod, and it provided the perfect setting for peaceful and productive meetings. The small scale of the hotel ensured a quiet atmosphere, allowing for focused discussions. The staff were accommodating and the facilities were well-maintained, creating a comfortable and professional environment for our work.
The only thing I missed for my work was a dedicated business center with printing and copying facilities. It would have been convenient to have easy access to these services as it would have saved time and effort in completing necessary tasks.

Lots of space in the room; good bed; very quiet outside; nice park to take a walk.
internet access only in main building, not in the room; hotel invoice not correct and I forgot to check it.

Chose this hotel for a conclave. The small scale ensured a peaceful and quiet environment for meetings. Facilities were well-maintained and provided a comfortable experience.
Missed having a dedicated business center for work-related needs.

I had a fantastic experience at Corsendonk! The breakfast was superb and they even prepared it early for me as I had to leave for work. The location was peaceful and the buildings were well-maintained. The room was clean and comfortable, and the staff were friendly and helpful. I especially loved the beautiful grounds. I have stayed at more expensive hotels in the area but I would choose Corsendonk every time now. Highly recommended!
There was nothing I didn't like about my stay at Corsendonk. 👍🏼

Nice scenery, good breakfast with plenty of variety and comfortable mattress.
Terrible staff service. The receptionist was dismissive when handing over the room key and seemed to be very busy with other things.

The ancient buildings and mature grounds were breathtaking, the medieval dining hall was jaw-dropping, and the genuinely helpful and friendly staff made our stay super enjoyable. The evening meal was one of the best I've ever tasted, and our large spacious guestroom with a mini bar was mind-blowing. The breakfast had plenty of choice and was excellent. The location was top and the hotel offered free parking, laundry service, and allowed pets. The peacefulness of the hotel was unreal, making it perfect for hiking and cycling. Wi-fi was available and the entire hotel was no smoking.

We stumbled upon this hotel and stayed the night. The area was lovely and quiet, next to a great restaurant where we had dinner. The room was clean and tidy, and the staff were friendly. Breakfast was decent, and the grounds were pretty to stroll around.
The decor was outdated and basic, unlike the beautiful architecture of the surrounding buildings.
